Evaluation Process
Minimum Requirements (Initial Screening)

• Length of Service - 6 consecutive months
• Discipline – No disciplinary action in past 12 months
• Safety – No safety or performance violations in past 24 months
• Attendance – Meets established guidelines
• Most recent Performance Evaluation ratings - 3.5 average or above

Nominations meeting the minimum requirements are forwarded to the appropriate Supervisor for additional evaluation. Team Members not meeting the minimum requirements above will be disqualified from consideration for the XP award.

Supervisor Evaluation

• Supervisors review the nominator’s comments and have the opportunity to support the nomination and provide additional information.
• Supervisors indicate their recommendation on the evaluation form.

All qualified nominations, including those with a Supervisor “no” recommendation, are forwarded to the Selection Team for consideration.

Selection Process 

• The Executive Team reviews the nominations for specific examples of “clearly outstanding” performance in the three nomination categories.
• Nominees selected to receive an award require the final approval of the Regional Director, Vice President and President.

Celebration Process
Team Members who are selected to receive a Gold XP Award are invited to the next XP event where they will receive their pin and plaque.
