I have always thought this winner was a great person, but she has really been able to show how much value she can provide over the last year. She has worked this last year to get us certified in Corona polish and x-rays. Her success makes it possible for us to certify our people for the state of CA. This leads to a cost savings for the company. She stepped up in the middle of the year and took over Curriculum Development and kept all back office responsibilities. She has been instrumental in the successful implementation of our on-line modules. Her ongoing communication with her team to meet the objectives set forth for 2008 was the driving force for the on-time completion of the modules. She took an area that was outside her comfort zone and ran with it. She is a great manager of people and has no qualms about holding people accountable. She will take on a project and put together timelines and objectives with her people and then execute to meet them. She is one of the hardest working people I know with more integrity than can be imagined. When our team had some role changes and shifts, she took on the work of 3 people and never complained...she just did it!! She has always been about the team. I have never seen her single herself out in any complimentary situation. When our team won Support Office Team of the Year, it was this winner who stepped up to the microphone first and said how proud the TEAM is and how hard WE worked this past year. It is never about her. This winner IS the Guiding Principle of "we succeed and fail together".
